The Big Thrill Skytrex Adventure @ Bukit Cerakah!!!

Hehe I finally get to try the Skytrex at Taman Botani Malaysia @ Bukit Cerakah in Shah Alam, Selangor. Starting small with the Big Thrill ^_^ Or so my friend say (she failed to mention there is Little Adventure)

Small my head!! That platform was 17 meters high!!!

Swing swing... This is the toughest for me because my feet kept slipping off the swing...

The zig zag path was OK until certain part where I was too short to hold on to the rope with both hands and had to hang 1 handed...

The cheating rope bridge for those who are unable to go on. Not me ^_^

The flying fox was the best part. Give yourself a little push for an extra thrill!
Apart from platform climbing and that swingy thing, the whole ordeal was quite OK, nothing scary. The best part is rope walking where the wind sways you in the air and the flying foxes. I think my next target would be the Extreme Challenge on 22 meters above the ground ^_^

Booking is done via the Skytrex website

Pricing for Big Thrill is RM 35 inclusive of training. Gloves are optional for RM 3.

Other fascilities:
- transfer coach
- locker (deposit RM 5)
- sling bag for water bottle (deposit RM 5)
- Skydeck : a party area with picnic table; RM 15 per table for whole day booking
- bathroom
- cute instructors ^_^

My 2nd Kiku Zakura visit @ Tropicana City, Damansara

I'm  hooked with Kiku Zakura at Tropicana City Mall ^_^ For the second visit we had more stuffs.

Tuna salsa. A bit like sweet and sour broiled tuna. Sorry to say but that's how it tasted.

Takoyaki, my all time favourite snack! Not enough tako though...

Assorted temaki set

This was the star on that day. Premium eel done nicely with teriyaki sauce on sushi rice, accompanied with assorted sashimi, pickles and miso soup. I can't remember the set name but it was RM 99.

I think this one is choco banana with macha ice cream. Lovely!

And this one, we requested to change a scoop of macha for goma with an extra charge. I can't remember the name but I did love the crunchy cornflakes and raisins at the base.

Laman Grill, Steak & Bar-B-Que ~ A place to Steak in @ Shah Alam

There are not many Western food outlet in Shah Alam that you can really shout or blog about. Once in a while you'll see one cropping up, then to die off because of the chilly respond to it. I beg to differ in my opinion, but sometimes I just feel it's because these dying or dead places just don't understand the concept or simply do not get the concept right.

OK, let's not let my muttering dampen your spirit here. Because not all and always you'll get disappointed. So I give you Laman Grill, Steak & Bar-B-Que by Chef Zubair Zain.

Mediterranean food @ Tarbush Restaurant, Empire Shopping Mall, Subang Jaya

This place, to be honest, whenever I passed by , is always quiet. Ok, maybe there would be 1 or 2 table filled, but mostly when I passed by, it's quiet. Maybe I chose a wrong time to pass by...
What they always tell you is that never to drop by a quiet looking shop as it usually means that the place sucks. But the teapots are calling me... (Lame excuse)

The teapots are calling me...

For starters: Wara ainab (rice wrapped in pickled wine leaves) and yogurt cucumber salad. Not bad. Believe me, I slurped the yogurt away like soup (It's an acquired taste but I'm a yogurt lover)

My main dish: lamb arayes (mince lamb and herbs sandwiched between the lebanese bread). Dip in chilli sauce, yummy!

So what they say about quiet places... Maybe I just got lucky ^_^
