Ohimgosh... look at those shiny prawns... And those miniature crayfish and mussels...
Welcome to the seafood buffet dinner @ Golden Cafe, Golden Sands Resort. Adult pricing RM99+, kids RM 49++... for that prices you can have your fill of seafood to your heart content.
The roasted salmon... fresh from the oven... swimming in it's sauce.
The golden crispy calamari and prawn tempuras.
The assortments of seafood salad; there were marinated baby octopus, smoked salmon, shrimps salad and vege salad...
... then the tuna mayo, kerabu mango, unagi slices and seasoned jellyfish. The jellyfish was nicely seasoned with oil and crunchy fresh.
Compliments from the chef... our steamed tilapia may look ugly but it was delicious so don't judge a fish by its looks, folk!
My plate 1: fried udon in black pepper sauce, bak choy in oyster sauce, mussels and prawn.
Plate 2: grilled lamb with roasted vege and mint sauce. This is part of the buffet! It was tender, it was succulent, my lamb...
Plate 3: of course, the roasted salmon. Fresh, sweet and tender it is. Lemon for added tang.
Salad come last as plate 4 for me since it was crowded earlier. The unagi portion is quite ok, the smoked salmon was nice but I really enjoyed the jellyfish the most.
Of course, we're not done yet! Nest is, dessert!!!
