Japanese food @ Senjyu again @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara

My second visit to Senjyu after a while ^_^ As usual, service and food are impeccable!
Jasmine Faery again! Simply love it ^_^

Starter: seasoned jelly fish @ Chuka Karaage. Crunchy!

From left: Hamachi, Inari Lobster Salad, Toro

Instead of the usual set meal, we took the garlic fried rice with yasai miso shiru (vege miso soup) and Unagi Kabayaki (grilled premium eel)

I love this picture, it was caught in a dream like quality. My dessert: mochi crepe with vanilla ice cream.

Italianies @ The Curve for Italian food

Truthfully speaking, I've eaten better better Italian food in Sabah as compared to here. Italianies offers me nothing new or exciting thus.

My bread and olive oil while waiting for the orders.

Starters: brushettona and bruschetta. The difference is that bruschettona is served on softer bread bed and has aragula leaves on top which left a nice after taste, but on the other hand the bruschetta was served on a hard-toasted bread slices. I'd go for the former one and find the latter at other place next time. Same pricing.

Salmon piccata: oven baked salmon on top of angel hair pasta in caper based sauce. Nothing to shout about, they overbaked my salmon.

Aglio olio with lots of juicy prawn. Again, I've tasted better.

Pricing total : RM 156. 10. I miss Sabah.

NOTE:
Status: serve no pork. Cooking may contain alcohol (labeled on the side, a bonus)

Service & Ambience: Good.

Japanese food @ Rakuzen , Empire, Subang Jaya

It's becoming a Japanese food monthly galore for me ^_^ And this post is dedicated to Rakuzen, another high end Japanese food restaurant. For me this means seafood feasting more than anything else as high end restaurant usually served high quality seafood.

The hotata miso soup almost out from the picture as the hotate and salmon sashimi shines.

Above: Dragon roll consisting of a king prawn and avocado maki.  Below: my toro and ni anago sushi. Toro (fatty tuna) beats salmon, salmon belly and maguro (plain old tuna) thoroughly in taste and texture and price, while ni anago (sea eel) beats the hell off even the premium river eel as it melts in your mouth!

Cooling down with dessert: Strawberry Ice which is strawberries cored and filled with vanilla ice cream on a crown of cream

Total up - RM 111.35 for all these goodies.

NOTE:

Status: Serve no pork. Cooking may contains alcohol

Service: Excellent! Any place that refills my tea without prompt is always good ^_^
