Tea for two @ T Forty Two, Empire Gallery

While looking around for something sweet to sink our teeth in after lunch, passed by T Forty Two @ the Empire gallery and we thought why not spice up our dessert a little bit with some hi tea stuffs and stick out our pinkies over delicate china.

So much for sticking out our pinkies over china cups... We had Geisha tea instead :p

And much to our photo guy dismay, someone bite into the chocolate fondue cake before the photo was taken. But who cares, it was good.

But the strawberry shortcakes really fell short from expectations. Dry, dry, DRY!!!

 

Saved by the rich chocolate fudge cake though.

Macaroons seems to be a big thing here but oh well, after reading some unfavourable reviews on them, we forgo them. Some raves about the high tea menu but after my Suffolk house experience I kinda become very selective since there's mix up review over it. You can have a try though, no harm in it.
