My Penang Solo Stumble ~ A satisfactory Ending

It has been a pleasant solo trip so far, 3 days and 2 nights well spent (not to mention RM 900 ++). To recap, the Pearl of Orient is true to its name when it comes to historical glamour and food grandiour =D

And all the facts about how Penangites drive? Well, you get honked from all directions here that somehow you just have to honk back at all the pak cik makcik abang kakak adik datuk nenek 1Malaysia here, the roads are mostly a one - way single lane road, giving signal is 1 second short from turning to that direction, speed limit seems to be at 40 km / hr in some parts of the island and the list goes on.

And when you think you are lost, a round - a - bout with some weird sculpture in the middle appears.

Some tips...
1. I think a map of the island and Georgetown is pretty useful, it helps when you are trying to locate yourself most of the time.
2. Pay attention to the road and signboards. Last minute signal and swerve seems habitual here, missing a turn means going sound and round along the one way roads.
3. Food - where there are lots of people, that's where you should go
4. Haggle and haggle and haggle ^o^
5. It's hot and humid so it's pretty go figure to wear suitable clothing and bring along the sunblock

Sometimes just take a break and chill at a familiar outlet like Dome @ Gurney Plaza, enjoy the night air while street performers belt out classics in modern fusion. Window shop, watch a movie, walk around the mall if you want to be reminded of the city life again, Gurney Plaza is pretty OK with many major and popular outlets.

And last but not least, see you again =)
